Description

Now that we are moving project management from Gna to Redmine, we have to update the pages that are related to Gna ticket management. A non exhaustive set of pages:

  • Contact us
  • Where goes DDL?
  • Contribute
  • Developers + Writers + Translate DDL

We should also certainly change the links to report bugs and support requests. The new links should be the following:

We need to first test that these links perfectly works when the user has not logged into Redmine.

The roadmap can also be linked to the Redmine's CD roadmap:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/roadmap

We can also link to the fully detailed roadmaps, for example:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/versions/1

  • Category set to Documentation update
  • Status changed from New to In Progress
  • % Done changed from 0 to 10

The website header link “Project” is now pointing on http://team.doudoulinux.org/ on Spip. We need to put it online.

  • Parent task set to #146
Actions #4

Updated by Sergey Komkov over 13 years ago

  • Assignee set to Sergey Komkov
  • % Done changed from 10 to 30

Unfortunately square brackets in URL cannot be used so what's allowed is http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/issues/new?issue.
I modified contact Us and Where goes DDL? using this URL.

Concerning brackets, you should use URL encoding. Brackets codes are %5B and %5D. You can find an online URL encoder at http://www.blooberry.com/indexdot/html/topics/urlencoding.htm. It gives the following encoding:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/issues/new?issue%5Btracker_id%5D=2

for the following original link:

http://team.doudoulinux.org/projects/doudoulinux-cd/issues/new?issue[tracker_id]=2

I quickly checked that Spip perfectly understands URL encoded links.

Please note that our source code is still on Gna. It's “only” project management and requests that moved to Redmine. I reverted changes to “The translation job” and “Translator's FAQ”.

Here is the list of pages still having a link to gna.org, automatically extracted from the web server. Please note that not all of these links need to be replaced with Redmine. It depends on the target.

  • about/article/contact-us
  • about/more-about/article/where-goes-doudoulinux
  • contribute/developers/article/developers-faq
  • contribute/developers/article/how-to-generate-a-cd-usb-image
  • contribute/developers/article/the-doudoulinux-source-code
  • contribute/translate-doudoulinux/article/the-translation-job
  • contribute/translate-doudoulinux/article/translator-s-faq
  • contribute/translate-doudoulinux/translation-status/article/status-of-application-icons
  • documentation-7/advanced-tools/article/creating-a-doudoulinux-usb-key
  • documentation-7/article/get-doudoulinux
  • documentation-7/questions-and-issues/article/release-notes
  • documentation-7/questions-and-issues/article/reporting-a-hardware-issue

Some of these articles have already been corrected :).

Actions #10

  • % Done changed from 80 to 100
Corrected:
  1. Developers FAQ
  2. The DoudouLinux source code
  3. Reporting a hardware issue

The rest contains links to svn, mail, tasks and bugs at Gna

Perfect! In the meanwhile I corrected the URL in the hardware issue report tool that is shipping with DDL. I think we're done with this task :).
