Description

Currently there is no way to estimate the machine age when a hardware issue report is posted. As many issues are due to obsolete hardware drivers, it would be nice to include information related to the machine age. We can use the BIOS release date for this:

$ sudo dmidecode | grep Date
    Release Date: 11/10/2005
