Hi,

You're right, this package is not on our repository, this is a bug. Indeed we have troubles with these packages “kde-l10n-doudou-*” that are supposed to be subsets of the full official packages “kde-l10n-*”. They don't work as expected, the KDE help pages are still in English. I recommend to install kde-l10n-de instead and all or part of the available dependencies of “doudoulinux-l10n-de” at your convenience:

Hi Jean-Michel,

thank you for the quick reply. Is there also a i18n package for the main screen and the menü entrys developed by doudoulinux?

How do I set the language, the right way? (The Debian install guide does not describe this point)

Best Regards

We haven't set focus on languages yet concerning the development version that you are likely using. Although translations are mostly achieved for German on Transifex, most of them are not included in our packages. I plan to build dedicated packages with our translations during the coming days/weeks. Currently they are copied directly onto the file system while building the live system. This cannot work with a real install as you are performing.

If you want to set the language in a Debian system, just issue the following in the console:

dpkg-reconfigure locales
