In the hardware report, you appear to have an Intel wifi chipset:
0c:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (rev 02)
The correct driver is loaded (iwl3945). So I think this is either an issue with the driver or with the firmware. I have no information concerning the firmware unfortunately. I see two solutions though:
- Try the development version from our dailybuilds (http://download.doudoulinux.org/dailybuild/) which ships more recent drivers and firmwares
- Install a more recent version of the firmware, using the package
firmware-iwlwifi
from Debian Squeeze: http://packages.debian.org/squeeze/firmware-iwlwifi
If you choose the second solution, you'll need full persistence to not have your changes lost when shutting down the system.
