Description

As the boot process can last from 30s to 120s, it would be nice to play a music. To do this the alsa service must be started very early in the boot process in order to get sound working. As a start we can use an existing (free) music but, of course, in the future, a music composed on purpose would be preferable (see ticket #43).

  • Status changed from New to In Progress

A first build with a sound file played in the early boot stage was achieved. However we need to open a new ticket to have the sound played even earlier and move from the normal boot stage to the initramfs boot.
