Description

Apparently ath5k driver in the version 2.6.26 kernel does not work correctly. I am trying to update ath5k driver but having difficulty. Can I upgrade the kernel my doudoulinux install is using?

Yes I think so, but you certainly need to perform a real install on HD. For a real install, see our dev's blog:

http://blog.doudoulinux.org/

Note that instructions are a bit obsolete :(.

DDL is based on Debian and ships with official Debian repositories. You can add the Debian backports repository and install a recent kernel. If you're using a live system (even installed on HD), I'm pretty sure the backported kernel will not fit. It may cause troubles because it doesn't ship the Debian Live tools as far as I know.
