As a complement to the DDL CD's, we can offer a multi-language DVD that would ship additional, complementary or alternative software. We still have to discuss what would be the content. Its size should be much smaller than 4.4 GB but likely closer to 1.5 GB than to 1 GB. The main difficulty is to find a way to let users definitively set the DVD language to ease its use by children. We also need that users can easily and definitively change the language from a running DDL.

Note that for people who install DDL on hard disk, having a complementary software set is a good idea. This is why building a DVD does not seem to be out of scope. We should certainly build a meta-package of additional software for this purpose.
