Description

TBO is a small application designed to easily draw comics without actually drawing the characters or things.

Thanks to this application, we could offer children:

  • a way to start drawing and then imagining stories
  • funny comics involving our characters
  • a way to share their culture online :)

The source code contains a debian directory to build standard Debian packages. However, while compilation succeeded in Squeeze, it failed in Lenny. It seems the author is using to recent libraries for the compilation tools. One possible issue is thus the speed at which the author is moving from one lib to an updated version. The author recently moved from Gtk2 to Gtk3. This may make us unable to follow its improvements and fixes.

Moreover the application is quite young and showed several remaining bugs. We need upstream author support.
