The latest version (06-2011) doesn't get compiled on Debian Squeeze due to the use of Gnome 3 libraries supposedly. A commit of April 2011 is reporting a migration from Gtk2 to Gtk3:

Gnome 3 libraries have landed into Debian Wheezy, we wait several months more to have the latest version of TBO :).
