Updated over 12 years ago.

The computer is still active after a shutdown.
Need to use the power switch to complete light off the asus eee 701
- Status changed from New to Need info
I think I had this issue on my own EeePC when I installed Lenny 2-3 years ago. I don't remember the required tweak, maybe it's kind of PCI parameter tuning.
We may need to introduce per hardware tweaks in the future (by doing hardware probing during boot), similarly to what we are already doing for graphic chipsets. However the difficulty will be to have the hardware for testing, especially concerning laptops which are often weirdly designed…

There is a dedicated EeePC package. Maybe we just have to install it?

DDL/Squeeze doesn't show the issue while DDL/Lenny does. The ticket should then be attached to Gondwana 1.2. However I'm trying to add the Debian packages specific to the EeePc and the OLPC to both builds.
- Status changed from Need info to Won't fix

The EeePC packages don't get installed, they trigger a build failure. I think they're obsolete although being in Lenny. We won't solve this issue for Gondwana.
