Another candidate, which seems to not be listed on Wikipedia, is Laby. Its advantage is to be already packaged in Debian:

Laby is quite easy to understand. My children have used it a bit and found it interesting. Its main default is to use Ocaml as default programming language, but it can be changed into Python :).
