Description

Depending on the sequences, the video quality can be really bad with big squares in the image, as if compression was too heavy. Trials showed that the bit rate parameter “-b 1800” has no effect until it reaches 100,000 or 200,000. Reading the Ffmpeg documentation revealed that it is the bit rate in bits per seconds. A better value for such cases was found to be 400,000 for a size 320×240.
