Description
We'd like to find a replacement for the current menu of activities (the first screen after DDL has finished to launch). As explained in the parent ticket, GDM is currently used and does not offer all what we need.
The replacement has to offer additional functionalities and particularly to let us place icons as we want. It should also use a small set of libraries that would preferably already be in DDL. Finally it should not use too much resources: CPU, memory and disk.
