Description
Initially we wanted to use wicd but it appears to have a more complex user interface. As Network-manager is simpler to use and does not require much more disk space, we felt back to nm.
======================================
We can try to ship wicd a replacement for lxnm since the later is difficult to configure for wifi networks. It seems to have few dependencies and there is a backported package:
http://packages.debian.org/lenny-backports/wicd
Should try to include it for next release :).
