In a recent discussion Fayçal explained that Arabic is never transliterated into Latin alphabet. Thus we have to keep a foreign language in the Arabic boot screen (either English or French depending on the country). To give non-Latin readers the opportunity to read the welcoming message as well, he proposes that we insert in the background image translations of “Welcome to DDL” into many languages.
