I have nearly never seen it, shutdown process is usually bugging and ends with a “hard” shutdown (the computer power button).
Migration to Squeeze - Bug #502: Shutdown screen contains Bonjour instead of Au revoirhttp://team.doudoulinux.org/issues/502?journal_id=14972011-12-19T07:13:58ZSergey Komkovskomkov@doudoulinux.org

Ok, but you're shutting down from a session or from the menu of activities? My trials on real hardware doesn't give the same results if I shutdown from a session or from the menu of activities. It also seems the shutdown screen is quickly displayed, removed from screen to let the console show, then displayed again in some situations.
Migration to Squeeze - Bug #502: Shutdown screen contains Bonjour instead of Au revoirhttp://team.doudoulinux.org/issues/502?journal_id=15012011-12-20T07:04:43ZSergey Komkovskomkov@doudoulinux.org
