Description

...and monitor settings tools is empty but the system works at it! The external projector showed nothing though.

Any hardware issue report? I suspect the system fell back to a basic video driver because it hasn't detected any video card. This would explain that the monitor setting tools isn't able to show you the screens. Please also try the development version 2011-08 to check this is due to the freshness of your hardware.

Video chipset is NVIDIA GeForce G 105M.
Gondwana !.1 Ru LiveCD used for testing

Please try the development version since it is a recent nVidia video chipset, the Ion platform. The hardware report says Gondwana doesn't know this chipset. DDL is actually falling back to the basic VESA video driver, instead of the nVidia one. However I don't know why the monitor setting tool is empty since the system is able to list all the possible video modes. Maybe a bug in lxrandr.
